Provision for Children with Special Educational Needs

Recent Government legislation will lead to some changes to the identification of, and provision for children and young adults with special educational needs. These changes will take effect from September 2014 and exact details are still being cascaded to schools.  In preparation for these changes, schools are required to outline details of their provision for children with special educational needs and publish this on their school website.  Stanwell Fields has undertaken a self-assessment of current practice, which identifies the provision that we are able to offer all children, encompassing our ethos of quality-first, inclusive teaching, as well as identifying the provision available for children with additional needs.
