Pupil Voice

Student Council

Our school council makes sure the pupil voice is heard at Stanwell Fields. Its purpose is to give pupils a say on how their school is run, to help to improve school life and to raise money for charity. One child is elected as school councillor in each class from years 1-6 and we meet once a month to discuss different aspects of school life. In past years, the school council has helped select our class names, raise money for the Shooting Star Hospice, decide our school Golden Rules, and arrange for 'buddy stops' in both playgrounds. We will soon be beginning a project to improve our wet play games (and we'll be asking for your help!) These are our school councillors:

Our School Councillors:

Year 1  Tyler and Joel

Year 2  Destiny and Max

Year 3  Shreya, Brooke and Amna

Year 4  Harrison and Jamie E

Year 5  James and Lilly Ann

Year 6  Gemma and Tegan

Our Eco Code

Our Eco Team is working extremely hard to encourage our pupils, staff and parents to think about and act on environmental issues.

Our Eco Team meet on the last Friday of every month to review the progress in our school and generate new ideas.

Did you know we can earn 'leaves' by playing games on the Generation Green website? And in return we can exchange them for eco friendly items, such as gardening equipment, bird and insect houses or even water butts.
